Maryland Primary School receives a Pupil Premium Grant for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals or for any Looked After Children. 38% of our pupils are eligible for Pupil Premium funding.
We are required to publish online information about how we have used the premium.
Maryland Pupil Premium Grant for 2022 – 2023 is £207,750 + £21,895 Recovery Premium

COVID-19 Grant
The government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up lost time after school closure. This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds. Maryland was allocated £32,000 by the government and the allocation of these funds are detailed in the attached document.

PE Sports Premium
The School has been allocated a PE and Sports Premium which has been used to provide additional sports provision to extend high quality activities to help pupils achieve their personal best.
