The Headteacher of Maryland Primary School, Lorna Jackson, has undertaken a number of education research projects as part of her own appraisal and usually with the support of the local authority school improvement team. These projects always have school improvement as the fundamental purpose and the outcomes of the projects have improved standards, not only at Maryland, but at other schools as well.
Project outcomes are shared publicly through sharing at Headteacher & other educational conferences and publishing in education press.
